The client has an inventory control system that they use to keep a record of all products. The challenge is to find the lowest prices of Amazon product manually through their website and then making corresponding entries in the inventory management system. They required a system that could generate lowest prices of a given product automatically. The system needs to be integrable with the inventory management system.
Bluestack solutions developed a system based on Amazon Product Advertising API. This API is intended for associate developers building automated advertising solutions. It provides programmatic access to Amazon's product selection and discovery methods for integration with associate websites. By writing signed request and providing authentication parameters we directly interact with amazon product and get all the generic details of product including prices.
Amazon Advertising API governed by IAM security principles. The API is used via IAM users with proper AWS access policies assigned to it. This provides simple, secure and authenticated way of interacting with Amazon and transforming data.
